Butler Brothers MX team
rider Doug DeHaan was the recipient of the $750 Racer X Gas Card and the $250
Samsung 250 LCQ awards this past Saturday night at round 5 of the THQ AMA
Supercross Series in Anaheim, CA. Anaheim 3 was DeHaan's first race back with his
new team since injuring some muscles in his neck at round 2 of the World
Supercross Series back in December. DeHaan had a good race in his day
qualifier, but wasn't having the best of luck in the heat race and the semi in
the night show with two-first lap crashes with other riders. However, DeHaan
turned it all around in the LCQ missing the 250 main event by just three
seconds to Ryan Clark and took home the above mentioned awards. Both DeHaan and
Butler Brothers MX would like to thank Racer X and Samsung for putting up the
extra money to help the privateers. Not only does it help pay the bills, but it
also helps each rider and team get an extra amount of exposure from being up on
the podium and big screen. Special thanks goes out to
team sponsors Serious Racewear, Champions Honda, MSRMX,
the ASMF, WMR and Air-Nautiques. Please log onto www.ButlerBrothersMx.com
