Well I’m back on the map after knocking myself out in Steel City in a qualifying heat with a nice main event this last weekend at the Montreal Supercross. Montreal went really well for me. I
had to go through the consolations to get into the main but it all worked out
in the end. I was forced to line up on the outside of the start due to
qualifying towards the end. I had a great jump out of the gate and just got squeezed
out in the first corner by Sellards, Ward and Lewis. I ran a steady and consistent race knowing I was running just
outside of the top five. The majority
of the final I battled with Jason Thomas and Damon Huffman. I ended up getting
past Thomas with a couple corners to go when he tried to stuff Huffman and
fell. So I ended up 5th and the top Canadian
in the race. Now its time to just get ready for
the Euro season.... Doug DeHaan * Doug will be racing the German Supercross series beginning
November 14th and ending early January. He also plans on some other select Supercross events in Europe
including the CCE Supercross in Holland. |
