Team LamontRacing.com rider Doug DeHaan powered his Honda CR250 into the main event in Salt Lake City, Utah after some heated battles in his semi race.  Doug was in a three-way battle with Greg Schnell and James Povolny Jr. through much of the race and through the last lap of the semi Doug was on the short end of the stick sitting in sixth place one spot outside of a qualifying position.  As it came down last turn DeHaan made his move on Greg Schnell and stuff him in the last turn prior to the finish to take the fifth qualifying spot in the 250cc semi 1.

Doug said, “I loved the way I was riding.  The only set back of the evening was in the main event when I took an off track adventure.  I was running inside the top fifteen when I came into a berm and went through the tuff blocks off the track.  I was able to remount and finish but my final position was eighteenth.”
